Biography


Ronald A. Murray is an attorney and serves as of counsel to Murray | Lobb, PLLC. Ron was a founding partner of Murray & Lobb LLP in 1993. He has been practicing law for over fifty years. He has concentrated his practice in the areas of real estate and probate law.

Ron has spent many years developing a real estate practice consisting of the preparation of real estate loan documents for commercial lenders including Banks, Savings and Loan associations and individuals. He has represented many area banks including Allegiance Bank, First Community Bank, Webster State Bank, League City Bank and Trust, Citizens Bank, Baybrook National Bank, Horizon Capital Bank, and many other banks throughout the Houston area. He has also served on the Board of Directors of several area Banks.

Ron has also assisted his real estate lending clients in the unanticipated event that the loan goes into default. He has conducted real estate foreclosure sales throughout the State of Texas. His knowledge of the bidding process has resulted in successful outcomes for his clients.

Ron has provided probate services for reasonable fees for many years. He assists his clients in the preparation of wills, powers of attorneys, medical powers of attorneys and other related documents. He also assists the families of his clients when it becomes necessary to probate the wills of their loved ones.

Ron has also represented franchisees of fast-food restaurants including Sonic and Wendy’s locations. He has assisted these clients with the development of the real estate properties related to the restaurants.

Ron has been active in community services. He served as an associate judge for the City of Friendswood for several years. He served as President of the Southeast Houston Lions Club. He also served on the Board of Directors on the Baywood Hospital and Baywood School. Ron continues to serve a volunteer for the Bay Area Meals on Wheels Program.

Ron enjoys golf and Longhorn football.
